Alea DiGirolamo, LCSW

NYC & NJ Therapist

Founder, Clinical Director

Alea DiGirolamo is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, entrepreneur, and thought leader in modern mental health. As the Founder and Clinical Director of Elevate Psychotherapy & Co., she leads a team of forward-thinking clinicians who specialize in helping high-functioning individuals and couples manage their emotional lives with clarity, purpose, and depth.

With over a decade of experience, Alea is known for her dynamic, results-driven approach that integrates evidence-based modalities with real-life application. She blends clinical expertise in CBT, EFT, and trauma-informed care with a deep understanding of modern relationships, identity evolution, and mental performance. Her work often centers around helping clients move through high-pressure environments, emotionally complex partnerships, and major life transitions with intentionality and insight.

Alea created Elevate as a response to what was missing in traditional therapy: a space that honors emotional intelligence, personal growth, and the pursuit of a more elevated life—without the clinical coldness or generalized care. Her leadership style is grounded in authenticity, innovation, and a deep commitment to helping both clients and clinicians thrive.

Outside of her clinical work, Alea is a mentor, strategist, and mother of two. She brings realism, humor, and heart to every space she enters.

I’m a mom to two small kids, which means I’ve mastered the art of showing up—even when I haven’t slept, my toddler’s screaming, and someone’s always asking for a snack.

I’m obsessed with iced coffee and always reading at least three books at once. Fiction, psychology, memoir—it’s my version of self-care.

I have a serious respect for a good routine. Early mornings, movement, quiet time, and a moment to reset? Non-negotiable. It’s how I stay grounded when life feels loud.

I listen to podcasts like it’s my full-time job—therapy ones, mindset ones, and the occasional true crime detour.

My love language? A solo spa day with no one asking me for anything.
